DR. GONZALEZ - Veterinarian
Dr. Michelle Gonzalez was born and raised in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s in Zoology and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1999. She then completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, and Critical Care at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. Dr. Gonzalez has a Graduate Certificate in Shelter Medicine and Master’s in Veterinary Forensics and Forensic Science from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Studies in Animal Law from Lewis & Clark University. Her professional interests are surgery, high volume affordable sterilization, wellness care, education, the human-animal bond, and animal neglect and cruelty investigations.
